On the cutting room floor
I had agreed to shoot some photos of my friends for their Christmas cards this year, and while setting up I used Lonna and Harrison as stand ins so I could adjust settings before our friends arrived. After the shoot, I was going through the photos deleting all of the test shots, when I came across the photo above. Click on it for the full size, it’s worth it. I just wanted to share this perfect moment that I almost threw away.

That is an awesome photo! I think it shows how beautiful Lonna is and how happy she is being a mommy. (It’s easy in perfect moments like that, right?)

Most of the best pictures happen by accident, and it is nice when you catch a perfect moment on film. You can then look back at it when the moment isn’t so perfect and remember why you love being a Mom. The two of you are lovely.

And I love how camera-ready Lonna always is. If I’m “behind the scenes” I am a mess. I don’t know how you do it-I seem to remember right after you had Harry looking like you walked out of the hair salon.
I guess that is part of your always be prepared motto!
