Last Call for Family Fun!

This first picture I just had to put in here because all the kids are laughing and Gwen was the one tackled for once and Stella is laughing so hard, she thinks Gwen is just the best toy ever.

Summer is nearly over and we were lucky enough to cram in one more outing with my brother Spencer and his family. We met up in San Antonio for a rather sweaty, but really fun day at Sea World.

Pictures with Shamu, the friendly cuddly one.

Then the Shamu show where our kids were so excited to see the new baby Shamu that was recently born there. Then after a super duper long wait in line everyone was able to ride the Atlantis ride, and here they are coming out the exit for that one…

Then we hit up the Elmo’s Bay water area and play park…

Where even Stella enjoyed splashing around.

Merry-go-round fun, and I just love this one of Addy…

We caught the last show for the sea lions

Finished up seeing the dolphins, sharks and of course…

A sea of plush Shamu’s calling your name as you get ready to exit the park.

Pretty sure Gwen and Harrison had James convinced that these were the best because they are sooo soft.

And it appears that it was a good bargaining chip because this little friend found his way home with us.

Monday we hit up the local Chuck E. Cheese and had lots of fun winning tickets and having all the kids get their pictures sketched together. Here is my brother making the ultimate sacrifice so Harry could play this alien game.

Later we took in the sites and sounds of the REI near us and my kids fell in love with the kids area.

Gwen is peddling the bike that turns a mobile of some birds in the tree. It is really neat.. Everyday the kids ask me if we can go back to this play area. And yes we have been back a few times. We had lots of fun with my brothers family and it was a nice close to our big summer of trips and theme parks. Thanks for letting us hang out with you Spencer and Ariell.

This last photo I just added because I thought it was funny. Here is Harrison who was drawing and when I turned around he had all these different pens on his shirt. He is the new Geek chic. Gotta love that.

What a great way to end the summer. Sea world is SO much fun. I am glad you were all able to go there together……I can see signs of how hot it was though. Thank for the great pictures Lonna! I loved seeing them all.

I think I need to take my family to Sea World. Seth would love it- he loves our goldfish so Sea World would be amazing for him.

I survived my first 8 hours of CNA clinicals! Only 16 more to go.

That looks like a lot of fun! Next summer, on one of your meet ups with Spencer, Ariel, and fam., you should let us know and we’ll come too! Stella and Scarlett are close to the same age and I know Wes would love to see you and Spencer.

Thanks you for the wonderful pictures and sharing your adventures with us we love them. Jr always was a push over for a guy who needed to play and alien game or maybe that was halo. Stella is getting so big and such a wonderful personality. She is going to be a great asset to your family. I think about our own summer adventures. glad you could all be apart of it. Wish we could do it again. This week I started the preservice school training and I’m so glad it is almost over. Give everyone a big hug from grandma and grandpa. Love you

Your kids look sooo big. It’s like I haven’t seen them for a year or something… Cute pics. Cute family.

That looks HOT, I mean FUN. It sounds like Gwen has James number, he is such a softy.
That Uncle is a softy too, to touch the ground at Chuck E Cheese. Harrison is pretty lucky.
Geek chic, I love it.
Stella baby is so cute.
And I do love Gwen’s beautiful hair.
